Site & vegetation clearance
Site and vegetation clearance in Bidford-on-Avon
Overgrown plots, brambles, scrub, self-set trees and bankside vegetation cleared and taken away. Ready for building, landscaping or simply getting your garden back.
Site Clearance
From jungle to clear ground in a day
Some plots have been left so long you can't see the fence. Others need clearing before a builder, a surveyor or an estate agent can do their job. Either way, the fastest route is a team with the right cutting kit, a chipper and somewhere to take it all.
We clear gardens, paddocks, building plots, commercial yards, riverbanks and lake margins. Brambles, nettles, scrub, laurel thickets, self-seeded sycamore and ash, ivy on walls and fences, fallen timber – it all goes. We can take out the trees too, and grind the stumps so the ground is genuinely clear.
We work for homeowners, landlords, developers, farmers and estate managers. If you need it clear by a date, tell us and we'll plan around it.

How we work
How a clearance job runs
-
1
Walk the site
We look at what's growing, what's underneath it and where the access is, then give you a fixed price and a timescale.
-
2
Check
We look for nesting birds, badger setts, protected plants and any tree that might carry a TPO before anything is cut.
-
3
Clear
The team works through the site with brushcutters, chainsaws and the chipper, felling and grinding trees as agreed.
-
4
Remove
Everything is chipped or loaded and taken away. You're left with clear, level ground and a site you can actually use.
Doing it properly
Safety, permissions and waste
A site that looks like scrub can still be home to nesting birds, badgers, newts or protected plants. Clearing between March and August needs extra care, and some sites need an ecology check before work starts. We'll tell you if that's the case rather than pretend it isn't.
Any tree on the site may be protected, and a plot in a conservation area needs notice before trees are removed. We check both. Japanese knotweed and other invasive species must be handled and disposed of separately – if we spot them, we'll stop and talk to you before going further. All other arisings are chipped and recycled.
FAQs
Site clearance questions
Can't find what you need? Give us a call – we're happy to talk it through.
It depends on the size of the area, how dense the growth is, how many trees and stumps there are and how far the waste has to be carried. We price per job after a site visit, and for large sites we can quote per day.
Usually, yes. We have hand-carried kit and a tracked stump grinder that fits through a standard gate. It takes longer, which is reflected in the price, but it can be done.
Tree stumps are ground out below ground level. Bramble and scrub roots are cut at ground level; if you need the ground fully dug over for planting or building, we'll advise on the best approach.
Sometimes, after a careful check. If we find active nests, that part of the site has to wait until they've fledged. Where possible, plan large clearances for September to February.
We stop cutting in that area, tell you straight away and explain the options. Knotweed needs specialist treatment and controlled disposal; spreading it by cutting would make things worse.
Yes. We supply risk assessments and method statements, work to site rules and can provide our insurance certificate for your records.
